This track is aimed at software entrepreneurs and those who dream of becoming one. The goal is to facilitate an exchange of experience and expertise.
Session 1 – How to build and grow your company
Swiss software companies face a common challenge: They operate in a small market, which limits their early growth. The result is that many promising Swiss software companies are soon acquired by international players. What's the alternative? Is there a way for Swiss software to venture into the international shark tank without being bitten? Or should Swiss software simply focus on business models that primarily serve the domestic demand?
Session 2 – How to build and grow your talent
Developing software is more than a laborious process, it's a craft. But like any craft, talent is what makes the difference. Access to well-trained specialists is essential, so the matter of if and how quickly this talent can be made productive makes a crucial difference. Several strategies exist, ranging from apprenticeships and cross-company training programs to independent self-learning and self-organizing corporate structures.
